Alison Haracznak Powell

Virginia native Alison Haracznak Powell has toured nationally both with her one-woman piece Marilyn and with the non-profit The Conciliation Project.

Upon moving to New Orleans, Alison was one of the founding members of Downtime. She has studied internationally with the DAH Theater in Belgrade, Serbia, as well as studying abroad in Greece. She was nominated for best actress for her performance of Babe in Crimes of the Heart at the CAT Theater.

Alison received her BFA in Theater Performance from Virginia Commonwealth University with a focus in interactive theater.
